Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel is a house of prayer. All Masses celebrated here are private Masses According to Pope John Paul II your Sunday obligation can be fulfilled at any valid Catholic rite, thus you can fulfill your Sunday obligation here.
Under the terms of the Papal Bull "QUO PRIMUM" given to us by Pope Saint Pius V, which gives every priest the right to celebrate the Mass codified by the Council of Trent in Perpetuity, we do so.
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament has been established to preserve the true Catholic Faith. It is bound to the observance of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass solely according to the form ordained by the Council of Trent. In all rites ceremonies and usage the community will adhere without exception to the established forms of holy tradition, cherishing the ancient and venerable as fitting for the Divine, while shunning novel and strange forms alien to Catholic Tradition and unworthy in the expression of the Catholic Faith. The Community, in all its works shall be dedicated to the task of helping create an atmosphere amongst all Latin Rite Catholic people, that is commonly referred to as the "SENSUS CATHOLICUS". We shall not engage in debate or try to prove anything to anyone. We shall respectfully leave all the debating to those who feel it necessary to prove or to debate something.
We wish only to be Catholic... we wish only to live the kind of Catholics our venerable forefathers taught us to be, the kind the Saints of yesteryear inspired us to be. By the Holy Grace of God, it is only for this that we are here! We cannot -INDEED WE WILL NOT- allow the disturbance of argument, debaste or idle gossip and speculation, to enter our lives and disrupt the atmosphere of peace and serenity which prevails in our community .We wish to spend our valuable time in prayer, contemplation and hard work.
